Rare 1700s antique English Georgian era classic five-stone diamond ring in 18K gold and silver, in very good antique condition with minor signs of wear – R1276
Dates to the 1780s, this beautiful and highly sought-after antique ring is set with five rose-cut diamonds. The center diamond has a coveted high profile, set in a silver rub-over collet backed with deeply engraved ray motifs in gold, a typical jewelry adornment of the late 1600s to 1700s. The “C” connections and the hatched bars between the shoulders and the gold band are also characteristic details of the period.
One of the small diamonds may be a replacement, or just the setting may have undergone some restoration in the past. The bottom of the band is slightly thin, most likely due to resizing. The rest of the ring remains in beautiful antique condition.
All the diamonds are tested by gem tester and carefully examined under microscope. We grantee the authenticity of our gemstones. Please feel confident to purchase.
