Antique Portuguese amethyst and rock crystal cluster silver and 19.2k gold ring circa 1780s, in excellent condition with little sign of wear-R1264
This ring from my personal collection has long been appreciated and is something I am actually obsessed with. Just from the stone shapes, cuts, settings, arrangement, and color combination, you can easily tell its Portuguese origin.
The very satisfying oval cluster ring head can be dated to the 1700s, centered with a beautiful light-lavender purple amethyst (foiled back) inside a rock crystal (foiled and black-dotted back) halo. The back of the ring head is covered by a thick gold plaque that perfectly aligns with the ring head border, and is mounted on an engraved floral trifurcate shank. Based on the workmanship, style, and details, I think the work was done in antique times, most likely the late 1800s.
All the gemstones are carefully examined and tested by a gem tester and under a microscope. We guarantee the authenticity of our gemstones. Please feel confident when making your purchase.
