Antique Portuguese floral brooch, circa 1780s. All diamonds are rose cut, close back set in rich high carat yellow gold rather than silver, typical of Iberian jewelry craftsmanship from the 17th to 19th centuries. While the fittings are later antique replacements, the main body remains in exceptionally well preserved, rarely impeccable condition.
This piece has been part of my personal collection for a long time and is one of my most treasured examples. Extremely difficult to acquire.
All diamonds are carefully examined and tested by a gem tester and under a microscope. We guarantee the authenticity of our gemstones. Please feel confident when making your purchase.
