Rare antique Spanish rose cut diamond navette ring circa 1780's, in excellent antique condition with minor wear of sign-R1274
This ring has been part of my personal collection for many years and is one of my favorite antique Spanish rings. All diamonds are rose cut and close-back set in gold collets rather than silver, a characteristic feature seen in many Iberian pieces from the 17th to 19th century.
Despite being over two centuries old, the ring remains in exceptional condition. Aside from a few light scratch lines on the back, most likely old gold testing marks, the condition is remarkably well preserved, which is extremely rare for a piece of this age.
This antique ring is fully wearable by modern standards and, at the same time, a highly desirable collector’s piece and a work of historical jewelry art.
All diamonds are carefully examined and tested by a gem tester and under a microscope. We guarantee the authenticity of our gemstones. Please feel confident when making your purchase.
