These highly sought-after antique jewelry pieces are becoming increasingly rare to find, especially in good condition. Each earring features a central old European cut diamond surrounded by eight slightly smaller diamonds of the same cut. Their flower & scrolled triangle screw-backs are absolutely beautiful and special, the first time that I saw such unique and refined earrings fittings. Gorgeous!
All the diamonds are original and securely set, and considering their age, they are in great condition. It is common for diamonds from that era to show some variation in color and form, as they were much rarer at the time. For me, this makes the earrings unique and more charming. The stylish flower and scrolled triangle screw-backs add additional allure to them, and they function perfectly. Upon close examination with a loupe, it can be seen that some of the prong-tips of the two middle diamonds show tiny bluish traces, which may have been caused by soldering material commonly used in the past, such as tin. However, the rest of the earrings are in charmingly great antique condition.
